Activities for You and your Bulldog

   Contrary to the average belief, Bulldogs are capable of participating in multiple different activities that involve using their mind and being active. You can enjoy things like Scent Work; finding different scents hidden among items at different levels of difficulty, Agility; running through a preset course within a time limit, Obedience and Rally; teaching your dog a series of commands to follow while doing different things. 

   One cool thing about the Bulldog community here in the PNW as well as the United States is how dedicated it is to breeding healthy, beautiful, smart, standard dogs. Bulldog Club of America(BCA) brings likeminded people together in support of these causes and in support of having fun with your dog! BCA is made up of multiple smaller Bulldog clubs, which are located all over the United States. We joined our club, Bulldog Club of Greater Seattle Division V(BCGS), and have enjoyed how welcoming, caring, and informative everyone has been. Local kennel clubs are also a great way to socialize your dog and create an everlasting bond by learning any of the different activities previously stated. We are apart of Yakima Kennel Club, and enjoy helping with events like Meet The Breed and the annual AKC show in the spring time. We also go practice at our local Acme Canine Center.

   There are multiple other activities you and your Bulldog can participate in, these are just a few that come to mind. We can always assist in helping with resources to connecting you to training centers, clubs, etc close to where you live.
